Aloha! I'm Kristen, your lifestyle photographer. In Hawaiian, “pilina” embodies a myriad of meanings–association, relationship, union, connection, meeting, joining, adhering, fitting–all of which perfectly encapsulate the essence of family. At Pilina Photography, I celebrate these connections through the art of photography. With Maui's breathtaking landscapes as our canvas, I capture authentic moments with natural light. Whether it's a bright morning at the beach, a serene hike through Makawao Forest, or a beautiful sunset in upcountry, I seek to capture the essence of your family's story in every image. Join me at Pilina Photography as we celebrate the beauty of family and the meaningful connections that make life truly special.

Cultural Centers
The Donkey Mill Art Center, home of the Holualoa Foundation for Arts and Culture, is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We are a hub for the exploration of arts and culture to nurture individual creative expression and community resilience for the people of West Hawai'i and beyond. This includes hands-on classes, exhibitions, and events of contemporary arts, crafts and culture. Arts education is essential to break down socio-economic and cultural barriers. We are committed to establishing West Hawai'i as a model of a resilient, thriving community where art is considered a necessity, not a luxury. We are located 3 miles south of Holualoa Village on Mamalahoa Hwy.
