Aloha! We're a local kitchen that runs a restaurant, bakery, and catering business on the island of Kauai. We have a small but forever expanding menu for either that nice little cruise down the west side or a little pick me up before going to Lihu'e for that $200+ Costco run. For our catering we will meet and continuously work with you to provide you with the best food we can. We hope to become another good moment in your story of life.

Midnight Bear Breads is an artisan bakery located on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. Ursa Swift and Evan McAfee have owned and operated the bakery since 2012 in Hanapepe. We started off selling our artisan breads at farmers markets and retail stores around the island. Opening a retail bakery in 2015 has expanded into selling our artisan breads, croissants, sandwiches, panini’s, pizza, and coffee all fresh at our bakery location in historic Hanapepe town. Using the finest organic ingredients, old traditional technique, and European equipment; we strive to make the best product we can.
