KHS is a local, independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization. KHS has been serving the island of Kaua’i as its only open-intake animal shelter since 1952. Adoption Hours are daily from 12 pm- 4:30 pm (except Thursdays) Field Trip Walk-Ins accepted from 10 am - 12 pm (except Thursdays)
